Why would Dave and Barb want to restore an old cottage and garden in Otaki Beach?

Dave and Barb Milina have a passion for creating beautiful spaces. Having created Warblers Retreat, a 5 star eco luxury B&B and eco-wedding venue, they have now set their sights on creating something special at Marlys Cottage. With the history of Barb’s family, a garden landscape with potential, and a cottage waiting for an upgrade, this property is destined to look quite different. Follow their progress!

Since 1932, family members of the Young and Cooper families have lived at 44 Tasman Rd. Marly’s Cottage has been a happy gathering place for family, extended family, friends and guests to enjoy.  There have been gatherings such as picnics, camp overs, Christmas gatherings, and weddings. Fond memories and great times have been shared together throughout the years. 

The aim is for this to continue. There’s just a bit of work that needs to be done prior!
